Primordial Genetics has graduated from the Plug and Play Spring 2019 accelerator program as a top startup company selected by Plug and Play to join their company ecosystem. Primordial was among 19 startups participating in the ‘Food Batch 5’ food & beverage vertical program.
“Plug and Play does an outstanding job in bringing together large and small companies and investors with shared interests” said Primordial Genetics founder and President Helge Zieler, PhD. “We have gained great exposure at their events and have initiated conversations with multiple organizations relevant to our internal programs. These new contacts have excellent potential for building new relationships. Plug and Play is one of the most effective meeting places and partnering forums that we have participated in.”
The three-month accelerator program culminated with a three-day pitching event covering eight different verticals at the Plug and Play Tech Center headquarters in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley. Dr. Zieler presented Primordial’s synthetic biology solutions for food & feed, pharma and agricultural applications to potential strategic partners and investors.
